The Okanagan Skin Care Centre is a female-oriented centre run by women devoted to delivering quality and care for the medical and cosmetic treatment of skin concerns. We have a host of well-trained specialized Registered Nurses working in conjunction with the Okanagan's only plastic surgeons.
Skin Care Treatments
A team of highly trained Registered Nurses offer a full range of skin care services and products including: (botox treatment of facial wrinkles as well as hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)) laser hair removal, laser removal of brown/red spots from birth defects or sun damage (pigmentation, miniscule veins), chemical peels, Blu-U acne treatment, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) facial rejuvenation, and tissue fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm and Teosyal. For treatment involving product, we assess and tailor a treatment regimen according to an individual's skin care needs. Our products include: Skin TX, Vivier, SwissTEC and more.
Another strength is that we are closely affiliated with the Okanagan's only plastic surgeons. If one of our medical patients or cosmetic clients have a problem that would be better served surgically, we do not try and solve the problem with bandaid solutions using non-surgical means, but offer the proper treatment. As a result of this liaison, we truly offer a large range of cosmetic expertise and procedures. There is one caveat to this: we vigilantly research the various procedures available and are careful in what we choose to offer. We will only advise our patients/clients to proceed with treatments we think are effective and medically safe.
